Run, jump, climb, bounce,… smile! It’s an exciting morning for our children as they enjoy a special reserved room to bounce around with glee. Children will enjoy the private trampoline court and foam pit at Jump Sky High's wonderful facility in Camarillo. The children will exercise key motor skills while learning to improve organizational behavior and sensory integration – and having a blast in the process! Experienced and qualified coaches will be on hand to guide the children. Teen volunteers will also be on hand to keep things spirited and well supervised. Reservation required. No fee. Volunteers arrive at 10:50am.

licensed behaviorist, worked with our Friendship Circle campers at both winter and
summer camps. Her immense knowledge and experience of working with children
with special needs serves as a wonderful tool for tips parents can use with their kids
at home. At this lecture Karen will focus on the benefits and importance of positive

Under the direction of Coach Denny Lubin, children with special needs, ages 6-14, will be able to enjoy a full range of mainstream sports activities such as basketball, hockey, baseball and soccer – albeit in accordance with their specific capabilities and conceptualizations. Taking place at the beautiful gymnasium at the Oak Park Community Center, the Miracle Sports League will consist of three semesters. Minimum enrollment in the program is a full semester.

Teen Fitness Club |

In response to popular demand on the part of parents of
teenagers with special needs who have outgrown the Miracle
Sports League, the Friendship Circle is inaugurating a new fitness
program for boys and girls with special needs between the
ages of 13 and 17. Meeting on a designated Sunday once every
month, the teens will enjoy a full range of specially customized
workouts under the guidance and supervision of professional
trainers and instructors. Activities will include cardio exercises,
weight training, Yoga, calisthenics, and aerobics. Machine workouts
will include treadmills, stationary bikes, stair-steppers and elliptical
machines.

Mitzva Volunteer |

A program that teaches young teens how to interact with children who have special needs. A chance to learn about various disabilities and appropriate conduct when volunteering. An opportunity to see the importance of giving back to the community and the huge impact they can make on others.
The training program will include guest speakers, video presentations and activities. Following the five sessions there will be an opportunity for the trainees to volunteer in a supervised setting, both as a group and individually.

In conjunction with the Agoura Hills/ Calabasas Community Center, the Friendship Circle hosts special rock climbing sessions on a beautiful indoor wall on the last Wednesday of every month. It’s fun. It’s challenging… and it’s completely safe. Professional supervision is on hand at all times.
